I myself have a similar idea, except that it's a bit more closer to a mismash between EaW, the Fermi Paradox game, the Quintaglio Ascension Trilogy, and "Land Before Time with edge pumped into it" involves various extinct species(ie: non-avian Dinosaurs, various pre-great dying species such as Trilobites, as well as earlier species like armored fish) being harvested off Earth in the species' last days and placed into this planet(let's call it Darwinia or Dixonia after Dougal Dixon) where they evolve side by side.
IDK I just think it'd be hilarious to see the Draka implode in slave revolts and the villain-protagonists of the series get killed by their own slaves. So they've gone from "modern military tech by 1910s standards" to "shit we're still using biplanes because we can't afford to do research anymore and our research base is 3 old racists in a side building of our one university and we can't BUILD any new shit anyway because we have to use what industry we have to resupply our existing military which is constantly undergoing massive attrition due to the rebellions happening literally everywhere.Īlso they BARELY have control of the Levant, never managed to get far into Iran or western Anatolia, and the Caucasus attack from Marching Through Georgia goes exactly as well as it should (which is to say, it's an unmitigated disaster that sees the protagonist dude, Von Whatshisface, maimed and the entire force torn apart by Soviet troops and some Georgian farm boy with his daddy's 1890s rifle and some broken glass bits who manages to keep the Pinnacles Of The Master Race cowering in a mud hut for three weeks until a specialist sniper and big-game hunter can be flown up and even THEN the farm kid kills the hunter's spotter and ends up maiming him so badly that the guy dies upon confirming his kill with the cowering Draka in the mud hut).
